Forgiveness Properties

Drop a bread clip into a bowl of regular milk. And, as it floats, drop the tiniest amount of soap inside. The result is amazing. Watch it spin rapidly, twisting and turning out of control! Add more soap, and get even more spin beyond a mere ripple effect. There is a scientific explanation behind this: "naturally,” regular milk is not completely "pure” from fat. So trying to cleanse it (soap) makes it go wild. It simply cannot handle it! This experiment is is a perfect microcosm for the spiritual depiction of man.

From the lineage of Adam, all mankind is "naturally impure” being born into sin. Nobody is perfect. And the heart is exactly like that floating bread clip, hoping to remain calm, unsurprised, and unturned. But when one person’s sin has a contagious effect on another, there’s actually a lot  of "crying over spilled milk.” Trying to clean it for good (soap) is going to make the heart (bread clip) spin sporadically. Whether it be in the form of revenge from the offended, or "apologize-a-phobia” from the offender, a good-riddance goal is an unrealistic one. Sin can only make a person’s heart spin uncontrollably inside, causing unnatural behavior. That is unless, we practice forgiveness.

Even with earthly dominion, there are still many things out of our jurisdiction. So we must remember that "cleanliness is next to Godliness,” letting God and God only perform the duties of Karma and/or redemption. We are, after all, inspired by a land of "milk and honey."

"[Father] forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us (Matthew 6:12).”
