WHAT'S BIBLICAL ALGEBRA?
(Ecclesiastes 8:16-17)

Above the Political Spectrum

Biblical Algebra, simplified, is a symbolizing story (or parable) of the Bible. It's literally Higher Learning which blends the 2 things above a man-made opinion: God's Word (The Bible) and man's number (Mathematics).

But why is this necessary? Have you noticed that no one truly explains their beliefs on anything anymore? Many religious leaders would rather just download their beliefs into the minds of their followers with no questions asked (Mark 7:7). They ex-communicate critical thinking; they mispronounce questions as sin. And it's harder than ever to differentiate between commitment and stubbornness.

Algebra, like the Bible, involves a step by step approach to issues such as combining like terms, reciprocation, and (supernatural) substitution that still "solves the problem" for all of mankind today. Experience the concurrent, magical method which turns a "negative" into a "positive" through its "absolute value." From a geometrical given, to a holy "forgiven," the password for an opinion is either "Biblical" or "Algebra."

INTERVIEW WITH THE FOUNDER

Meeting up with the math-addicted, richer in scriptures poet, I simply said "I want to discover the founder." And just as he promised, I did get a tour of the virtual B.A grounds.

Janine: What denomination is Biblical Algebra?

Jwyan: [Smiles] Oh it’s right in the name: Biblical. I wish I had time to go into how denominations are a divisive tactic that debuts in the Old Testament. But let me reduce my fractions and simply say denomination = division (I Corinthians 3:4-5). I believe it’s time believers rebuke this segregation. And I practice what I preach. The common denominator between us is and always has been the Good Book[smiles] and hopefully my book as well.

Janine: How do respond to those who view Biblical Algebra as a direct competitor to the church?

Jwyan: We are the religious equivalent of a Union Rep (Matthew 7:15). Our staff is committed to keeping believers safe from false prophets, inaccurate rhetoric, and man-made amendments to the Bible. And the most popular architecture of Christianity (church) is very vulnerable. We’ve seen this constantly through political exploitation and misconceived ideology that actually persuades a congregate not  " to be thy brother’s keeper.” This is true with all religions. Understand also that our organization's special thanks is predominately to ministers, missionaries, theologians, and biblical scholars.

Janine: Because of its school metaphor, you have been accused by some of implying that Christianity is a learning process that one should eventually graduate from. Are they correct?

Jwyan: Not in that context, no. Knowledge is appropriately to-be-continued in everything, on and off the Holy pages (Proverbs 4:7). However pace can be easily manipulated by weariness and the ill-intentioned. In fairness, there are some Christians who want credit just for going to church, or showing up on time. The higher level of others couldn’t paraphrase a sermon they just heard. There’s no interaction, no cumulative agenda, and no extra credit. Now if this was real a real  school, Janine, it would loose its accreditation! I believe the academic tone that Biblical Algebra provides has proved more profitable than a religious waiting room. Not to suggest this environment is intentional in some churches, I just believe many can profit from an alternative.

Janine: And how does Psychology come in to play?

Jwyan: [Laughs] Oh quite easily. I have studied Psychology myself. And I’ve never understood the clash that many claim it has with the Bible. Many professionals fail to call the Holy Spirit by its real name, but they all reference it in every theory. Only, instead, they just call it  "conscience, inner child, the id (John 14:16-17)" And when Jesus talked about "causing a child to stumble," society agrees, but only through secular terms like "self-fulfilling prophesy" or "modeling." I smile at Psychology in the same fashion as I would smile at my nephew who I'll let win me at basketball. Let them fill in control. Give them a sense of pride! We shouldn't hold our congruency for ransom on account of a few vocabulary words. Sooner or later, God will "spell it out" for them.

Tell me, who diagnosed behavior to our benefit: Sigmund Freud or Solomon? Both, right? And what is a code of ethics in humanity and co-existence: Humanistic Psychology (Carl Rogers) or The Ten Commandments (God)? Both, right? The psychosocial consensus is simply a clone of Corinthians and Ecclesiastics. It is a facilitator of love to those "who are wounded in the spirit” whether it be in or  out of the religious realm. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
